Lift-Lower Analysis

This describes the lift-lower analysis procedure using the lift-lower Analysis dialog box.

Before you begin: For more information see the Analysis Introduction and Concepts of the Lift-Lower Analysis.

  1. Click Lift-Lower Analysis from the Ergonomic Tools toolbar.

  2. Click Manikin .

    The Lift-Lower Analysis dialog box appears.

    Note: Depending on the Selected Guideline, the dialog box changes accordingly.

  3. SelectInitial once you have the manikin in the required first position.

  4. Click Record bar to record this first position.

  5. Select Final button, after the manikin has been moved to the second position that is to be analyzed.

  6. Select Record bar.

  7. The Score and Warning are shown in the dialog box.

  8. The dialog box for NIOSH 1991.

  9. Click Close when completed.
