Chamfer Tab

The Chamfer tab in the Properties dialog box lets you modify chamfer properties such as value format, numerical display format and representation type. It appears when you right-click a chamfer dimension and then select Properties.

This dialog box contains controls for:



Value Format

Select the format you want for the chamfer dimension value: Distance x Distance, Distance x Angle, Distance or Angle x Distance.

Numerical Display

Main description

Defines the dimension format for the main value.

Important: For a full description of the tolerance type selected, click the information icon on the left of the field.

Display

Displays the factor applied to the dimension: one, two or three factors.

Dual description

Defines the dimension format for the dual value.

Important: For a full description of the tolerance type selected, click the information icon on the left of the field.

Display

Displays the factor applied to the dimension: one, two or three factors.

Representation Type

Select the type of representation you want for the chamfer dimension: Two Symbols or One Symbol.
