Storing Note Object Attribute into a Catalog

You can store a Note Object Attribute into a catalog in order to re-instantiate it in another document.

Before you begin: Open an existing 3D shape with a NOA annotation.

  1. Create a new catalog named FTA Catalog.



  2. Click Insert New Chapter .

    The Catalog / Chapter DS dialog box appears.

  3. Rename the chapter as NOA Chapter and click OK in the Catalog / Chapter DS dialog box.



    The Manage Keywords dialog box appears.

  4. Click New keyword of type in the Manage Keywords dialog box.

    A blank keyword is created.

  5. Enter NOA Type as name, Doc as value and click Close in the Manage Keywords dialog box.

  6. Select NOA Chapter in the Specification Tree of the navigation window and click Insert Item: Feature .

  7. Select the NOA feature in the specification tree of the authoring window.

    The NOA is added to the NOA Chapter.
