Multi-Editing Fastener Connections

You can edit multiple fastener connections or instances in a single operation.

Before you begin: Below is a snapshot that shows you fastener instances and fastener connections within a product.

  1. Click Multi-Edition of Fasteners Connections .

    The Fastener Connections Multi-Edition dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select the fastener connections or instances.

    Note: A fastener instance can be linked to several fastener connections.

    Impacted connections are displayed in the first frame and highlighted in the specification tree. The Joined zones frame displays the fastened parts.

  3. Select the parts fastened by the fastener connections.

  4. Click OK.

    Fasten relationships between fastener connections and fastened parts are created. Former fasten relationships are removed.
