Browsing Unmeshed Domains

Unmeshed domains are shown and can be browsed when the mesh execution fails. The Unmeshed Domains capability lets you identify unmeshed domains of a surface mesh at any time.

  1. In the Mesh Surface Tools toolbar, click Unmeshed Domains .

    The Unmeshed Domains dialog box appears and displays the number of unmeshed domains that are detected.

  2. To focus on unmeshed domains, select the Autofocus check box.


    • If there is no current unmeshed domain, the first unmeshed domains that is detected receives focus and becomes the current unmeshed domain.
    • If an unmeshed domain is currently highlighted, this unmeshed domain receives focus.

  3. Browse unmeshed domains.

    • To highlight the previous unmeshed domain, click .
    • To highlight the next unmeshed domain, click .

  4. To highlight a particular unmeshed domain, enter a number in the Current box.

  5. Click Close.
