Distributing Nodes around a Hole

You can impose nodes by distributing them around a hole.


Before you begin: Enter the Surface Mesh workshop.

  1. Click Edge Distribution around Hole .

    The Mesh around Hole dialog box appears.

  2. Select the edge that is the contour of the hole.

  3. In the Number of edges, enter the number of edges you want to create around the selected hole.

  4. In the Propagate on list, select the number of layers or rows you want to create around the hole: One layer, Two layers or Three layers).

  5. For each layer, enter a value to define the height of the layer.

  6. Click OK.
