Folding / Unfolding Flexible Circuit Boards

You can unfold the flexible board and fold it again.

  1. Open a flexible board, in the Fold view:



    Important: The flexible board must be UI-active. If the command is launched on another object except a flexible board, a warning appears: 
    The current active object is not a flexible board so this command cannot be used.

  2. Click Fold / Unfold in the Flexible Circuit Board toolbar in order to unfold the flexible card.



    Note: Constraint areas, holes, cutouts and placed components are natively integrated in the Fold / Unfold views of the flexible board. Nevertheless the Circuit Board Design holes are not integrated to the Fold view.

    Warning:
    • If the thickness of constraint areas is too important, it may not be displayed as such in the Fold view.
    • You cannot use the Fold / Unfold command of the Generative Sheetmetal Design workbench for Flexible Circuit Board features.
