Replacing the Model with a New Version

You can replace the product in a simulation with a different version of the same product.

  1. Open a simulation.

  2. Right-click on the model in the specification tree, and select Replace Model by Version from the contextual menu.

    The Replace Model by Version command is not available if you opened a simulation without the model (a simplified version of the simulation that contains only a filtered subset of the objects in the Model category).

    The Object Selection dialog box displays a list of the versions of the product that appears under the model, including the current version.

  3. Select the version of the product that will replace the current version, and click OK. The structure of the selected version must be the same as the structure of the current version.

    The current version of the product is replaced by the selected version. All of the relationships between the product and the Scenario and Results categories are maintained.
