Intersecting 3D Elements with the Sketch Plane

You can create an intersection between a face and a sketch plane using the Intersect 3D Elements command.

Before you begin: Create a simple 3D shape similar to the one below.

Select the face of interest.
Display the 3D Geometry sub-toolbar located in the Operation tooolbar and click Intersect 3D Elements .
The application computes and displays the intersection between the face and the sketch plane. The intersection is yellow meaning that you cannot move it.
