Managing a 2D Animation

You can manage the animation of a 2D shape within the Dynamic Behavior Modeling workbench and see the computation results in the Variable Browser.

This task shows you how to:


Before you begin: From the Package Browser, open the Modelica Standard Library, then select StateGraph > Examples and activate ControlledTanks.

Visualize a 2D Animation

You can visualize the animation of a 2D shape and display the corresponding computation results.

  • Execute a behavior.


    • The virtual execution is launched.

      The 2D diagram animation starts.



    • The Variable Browser appears from the Dock to display the result of the simulation.

    • The Messages Reporting dialog box appears to display information about the compilation.

Manage a 2D Animation

You can display a sub-component during the virtual execution.

  1. Launch the virtual execution.

  2. Select a sub-component.

  3. Select Show Component(from the contextual Balloon toolbar on a component).

    The sub-component appears while the virtual execution is launched.

    Tip: If you want to go back to display the class, select it from the Package Browser.
