Creating a Knowledge Parameter in a Modelica Class

In order to use Modelica parameters in Knowledgeware formulas, knowledge parameters can be linked with Modelica parameters.

Editing Properties for Parameters
  1. From the Parameter and Variable Editor, select or multi-select the parameter(s) you want to edit.

  2. Select Edit (or Create if you need a new parameter/variable).

    Tip: To edit a parameter/variable from the Parameter and Variable Editor, you can also select Edit parameter, constant or variable from the contextual menu.

  3. Select the Attributes tab to specify additional type prefixes.

  4. From the Expose in Knowledgeware area, specify attributes for the linked Knowledge parameter.



  5. Click OK to exit the Variable and Parameter Edition dialog box and validate your creation/modification.

    In the Value column, a Formula symbol appears to indicate that the value can be driven by a Knowledge formula.

  6. Select Formula .
