Opening a Dynamic Behavior Library

You can easily access a selection of libraries.

1. Select Tools > Libraries... from the menu bar.

   A selection of libraries is listed.
   

   • Modelica Standard Library
   • Air Conditioning
   • Design
   • Flexible Bodies
   • Hydraulics
   • Modelon
   • Model Management
   • Power Train
   • Pneumatics
   • Smart Electric Drives
   • Vehicle Dynamics
   • Vehicle Interfaces

2. Select the convenient library.

   Provided that the library is installed into the database and that you have the convenient license, the selected library is loaded in session and appears in the Package Browser.

You can open a dynamic behavior library using the Search box of the Bar.

• If you are in a dynamic behavior context, the search result is displayed in an immersive window.
• If you are not in a dynamic behavior context, this will open the search result window. You can refer to Enter via the Open of an Existing Dynamic Behavior Library .

1. In the Search box of the Bar, enter dbl:* as a search string.

   Notes:
   

   • dbl is used for dynamic behavior library.
   • You can replace * with the name of your dynamic behavior library.

2. Click Search .

   The Search result list is displayed in an immersive window.
   
   

   Note: If you do several searches, they are kept in session.
   
   

3. To customize the display of the Search window, use the following commands:

   
   

   • The Tiles View button displays the name, the maturity and the version of the library.
   • The Details View button displays all the details concerning the library.
   • The Dockable button enlarges horizontally the Search window.

4. If needed, minimize the Search window.

   The Search symbol appears on the right side of your screen.
   
   

5. Double-click an item from the list.

   The selected dynamic behavior library is loaded in session and appears in the Package Browser.

6. To close the Search window, click the Close button.
