Creating a Dynamic Behavior Library

A dynamic behavior library contains components that can be re-used in other logical behaviors / behavior libraries.

Before you begin: Open a CATIA session.
  1. Select PLM Access > New or New from the menu bar.

    The New dialog box appears.

  2. Expand Systems (RFLP) > Behavior Library, then select Dynamic Behavior Content.

  3. Click Next.

The Dynamic Behavior Library dialog box appears.

  4. From the Behavior Library Representation tab, enter a name for the representation that will store the Modelica content.

  5. From the Modelica Attributes tab, enter a name for the Modelica library.

Important: This Modelica Name is the name that will be searched when using the Search box of the Bar.

  6. If need be, enter a version for your behavior library.

Important: This version is different from the PLM versioning.

  7. From the Behavior Library Reference tab, enter a name for the reference that will contain the behavior library representation within the PLM database.

  8. Click Finish.

From the Dynamic Behavior Modeling workbench, the new behavior library is displayed from the Package Browser and the Component Browser.

Important: You must now create a new class to instantiate components within.
