Connecting with Credentials Manager

This task shows you how to connect to the application when Single-sign on has been activated.

Important: You must have activated the Single sign-on Activated setting. See your administrator.

  1. If, for a selected application type and instance, credentials are found in the credential store, then the following dialog box appears:



  2. Click Yes to use the stored credentials, click No to ignore the credentials and pass to the manual authentication of your connection.

  3. If the credentials for selected application type and instance are not found in the credential store (or if you chose not to use the stored credentials), then the following dialog box appears for you to authenticate your connection to the application:



  4. Enter your username and password.

  5. Click Save for later use to save these credentials in the credential store.

  6. If the credentials for selected application type and instance are not found in the credential store, then the following dialog box appears for you to authenticate your connection (e.g. to the Collaboration application):



  7. Enter your username and password.

  8. Click Save for later use to save these credentials in the credential store.

    The next time you connect, if you saved your credentials for both the connection to the application and to Collaboration, then it will be sufficient to click Yes in step 2 to connect to both applications.
