Zooming In

Select View > Modify > Zoom In, or click Zoom In in the View toolbar.

You zoom in by one increment each time you click the icon.

Click the icon several times in succession.

You zoom up close (as illustrated below):

Select View > Zoom In Out and drag (left mouse button).

You zoom in progressively, not by increments.
