Using 3D Electronic Component Catalogs in Project Resource Management

For each project, a PRM is defined and a particular Catalog is mentioned in it. Then, to build his product definition, the user looks for the Catalog, stored in the PRM, in the database. This function prevents the user from opening a Catalog browser.

You can declare your electrical Catalog in a Project Resource Management (PRM).

Before you begin:

If the administrator has chosen a Standard login role, then the PRM catalog has to be Standard. Or if he logs in Engineering role, he must bind his PRM in Engineering. The information can be checked in Help > PLM User Information. To change the status of the project, he must select the resource and click Unbind the Project, an information window appears. Then he can propagate the project in database.

For more information about Project Bindings Tree, please refer to Knowledgeware User Guide: About the Project Resource Management Editor.
