About the SFC+ Editor Workbench

You can review the main capabilities of the SFC Editor.

Move Items

You can move steps, actions and transitions in the SFC Editor.

To move the steps and the actions, drag and drop the item. If the item is mapped to another item, mappings are automatically repositioned.

To move a transition, select it. Two green marks appear at both ends.


  • Drag and drop the green mark to disconnect an end of the transition.

Multi-select

You can select several items to move, copy, cut or delete them.

To select several items, you can:


  • Hold-down the left key of the mouse and move the mouse to create a rectangular area. All the items inside the area are selected.
  • Hold-on Ctrl and select the items. This command is also available in the specification tree.

Contextual Menus

Contextual commands are associated to the SFC Editor items.

The contextual menus of the steps are available in the viewer and the specification tree.

Copy / Paste

You can copy and paste the SFC Editor items.

To copy one or several items displayed in the editor, select the item(s) and press Ctrl+C or select Copy in the contextual menu.

To paste the item(s), press Ctrl+V or select Paste in the contextual menu.

Pan and Zoom

You can use the Pan and Zoom commands in the SFC Editor.

The Pan and Zoom commands are similar in the 3D editor and the Block editor.

How to Identify the Opened Block

A logic workspace can contain several blocks. The name of the opened block is displayed in the main window title bar.

Shortcut to Fill Dialog Boxes

You can directly select the port and signal names in the specification tree to create actions.

To fill the name of a port or a signal requested at the creation of an action, you can directly click the port or the signal in the specification tree.

Hide/Show

The Hide/Show command is not active in the SFC+ editor.
