Matching Axis Systems with Z Axis

The Match Axis Systems with Z Axis option allows you to constrain the Z axes of two published axis systems whatever the selected element in axis systems.

This functionality is only available using the Smart Positioning option.

By constraining an axis or a plane of a published axis system with another axis or a plane of another published axis system, this option will constrain Z axis systems of the two published axis systems.

The following table show you how axis systems are constrained fro specific engineering connection.

  • Contact between xy planes.

  • Contact between yz planes.

  • Measured coincidence between axis systems.
