Selecting Using a Filter

You can quickly manage and customize the sub-geometry selection in order to avoid any ambiguity.

Before you begin:
  • Open an assembly.
  • You need to activate the User Selection Filter toolbar by selecting the View > Toolbars command and clicking User Selection Filter.

  1. Click Coincidence Constraint

    Important:

    The Volume Type icon is disabled according to the Coincidence Constraint specifications.

  2. Select the Surface Type

  3. Drag the mouse over any surface assembly.

    The cursor shape is modified when passing over a selectable element.



  4. Unselect the Surface Type

  5. Select Curve Type

  6. Drag the mouse over the same surface as previous.

    The forbidden cursor appears when passing over a selectable element.
